So my DD had a physical yesterday and unfortunately not w/the same Physician's Assistant and the new one went on and on and on about her weight & not registering the growth charts.

I don't know why I have to go through this all the time, now I know how my parents felt w/me and why they eventually gave in & tried shoving foods into me, making me eat even when I was full.  It was horrible & I won't do that to my DD.

She is healthy & active, blood work is always normal so why make a big deal out of it?  It is rather frustrating.

Ok vent over & yes I know I have vented about this before but sometimes you just have to let it out & then you can let it go!

Lol! She needs some knee pads, but other than that I'd say she's pretty damn perfect :)

LOL yeah that was discussed yesterday too, especially since we recently found out her knee isnt fused properly so it is almost like her one knee has 2 knee caps.  She has an app w/an Pediatric Orthopedic Specialist in a few weeks.

Every time we go to the sports store they are out so looks like I will be looking online.

So what? She's registering like 0? What are the Dr.'s saying exactly? I mean are they siccing CPS on you or something? Is it that big of a hassel? They are just making sure your baby is healthy, right? Sorry, I don't have that problem, my son is average, around 50% for everything.

Agreed on the knee pads. A helmet would be good too, while we are offering opinion. ;)

How old is she?

She looks great to me!

What's an 'app'? Like an application? Or did you mean 'APPT' for appointment?

Why does she need either? I never used them and I turned out fine. Some people aren't overly obsessed like you, not everyone is required to do the helmet thing.

I wouldn't worry about. DS was a good size at birth, then fell off his curve until he was almost 2. He was steadily growing, just not fast enough that our ped was happy. He's still on the low end, but doing great for an almost 3y.

Good for you :) people that love their kids get them protective gear. It has nothing to do with overly obsessed.

They fight w/me to put her on a higher fat, higher calorie diet.  They want me to fatten her up.
