Update for my post about friend finding porn of his wife

I'll try to link the original post in replies. Anyway, our friend has been going through the website he found that his wife and her lover created. There are facebook convos saved from all the way back to 2011. We discouraged him from looking, but obviously we can't stop him. So in one convo they're basically just bashing him, and then they start talking about how they wish their spouses would DIE so they could be together... umm, wtf?

Ok, I know, none of our business/stay out of it/blah blah blah. I'm trying, but he's been coming to us for advice and this sent up a huge red flag for me. I'm worried about their daughter. She's 4 and currently with her mom most of the time. I just don't think that's the kind of thing a sane person says. It makes me wonder about how stable she is, and if their little girl is safe with her. So I need some input here. Am I right and she sounds nuts, or am I overreacting and it's normal to vent that way? I haven't said anything to our friend because I don't want to alarm him.

He could take it to the police. I don't know if they could/would do anything though.

Probably not. I'm just trying to figure out if she's unstable and a danger to their dd. He's not thinking very clearly right now and I don't want to upset him even more.

The whole situation sucks :( but honestly I don't think those comments would really amount to much custody wise.

Depends on the judge I'm sure. But what I'm wondering is if I'm right to be worried about his daughter. Right now he doesn't want a custody battle. If his dd is in danger he will fight for her.
