Title change for comments. Rate my menu for today please!

I'm pregnant and was overweight to start with. I'm not eating less, just replacing unhealthy food with healthy food.

Breakfast:
1 banana
1 gala apple
1 reduced fat string cheese
3 cups decaf coffee with creamer and Splenda

Mid-morning:
1 100 calorie cheese-it snack mix
10 baby carrots
1 dannon light and fit blueberry yogurt

Lunch:
1/2 cup egg salad with avocado
1/4 cup sliced cucumber
1 slice muenster cheese
1 100 calorie whole grain pita roll (everything above goes inside)
2 cups salad
1 tbsp light ranch
1 glass iced tea sweetened with Splenda

Mid-afternoon:
1 100 calorie bag of popcorn
20 or so green grapes
15 raw snap pea pods

Dinner:
1/4 lbs slow cooked pork roast with onions
1 whole red potato with margarine and light sour cream
4 cooked whole carrots
1/4 lbs boiled Lima beans
1 glass iced tea with Splenda

Dessert:
Fresh cut watermelon
1/2 dark chocolate bar (sharing with DH)

** I know a lot of people don't like Splenda. That's okay, I don't like sugar lol. It makes my teeth feel gross. You can read it as "sugar" for the rating. I'm just wondering if anyone eats as much as me. I also did about an hour on the stationary bike and lifted light weights, like I do every day.

Oh yay! A comment! I've been looking for non meat proteins. Eggs (which I LOVE), avocado, cheese, beans, peanut butter. It's just hard to find the ones that aren't secretly horrible for you. Maybe I'll add in a spoonful of peanut butter somewhere.

1 mom liked this

It seems good but I suggest completely skipping splenda since you're pregnant. It's still a chemical not good for you or baby. Have you ever tried organic honey or agave nectar? I personally prefer agave nectar.

I also went through this, I've lost weight my whole pregnancy. I ddin't "diet", I just changed how I ate. Happened with dd1 also.  Your menu looks fine to me! How far along are you? Congratulations on your pregnancy!

My appetite is HUGE! It's hard to fill it with healthy foods when I'm craving a chocolate banana milkshake and a spicy shrimp cup of noodles lol

I've tried a lot of sweeteners! I just haven't found one I like like Splenda. I only like honey in hot tea.
