Never returned my text

My husband told me last night that he may not be home for dinner tonight. Someone was in town for work and he may go out. At 5:30 I hadn't heard from him so I sent him a text asking if he knew for sure whether or not he'd be home for dinner. He didn't respond. Now dinner is over, we had desert and I'm getting ready to put the kids to bed. He still hasn't responded. I know he has his phone on him at all times. How upset would you be if at all when he got home?

It's not dead. He uses it for work, it would never be dead.

I would be more upset that he blew me off. It's okay to send a quick text saying I'm not coming home. Sorry he was inconsiderate.

I get that he's busy and gets distracted it just makes me so mad. If I was his boss he would have texted me back right away.

Rather angry. I would also have sent a few texts prior to now to illicit a response.

I'd be annoyed. I shouldn't be left to wonder if he's dead in a ditch somewhere.

He said maybe. I needed to know how much dinner to make. If he wasn't coming home I was just going to make sandwiches, if he was coming I have steaks that I bought. He said he'd let me know.
