This is my 22month old's upper gums. He fell while outside playing 2days ago. We cleaned it up it looked fine and stopped bleeding quickly. Well today while brushing his teeth I noticed this. Does it just look like it's hurt or infected?

**I already made a Dr apt for Monday morning **but it's worrying me. But what are your thoughts?

Excuse my hubbys nasty nails just got home from work.

Not necessarily. Mouth injuries can turn some funky colors, and they heal extremely fast.

No. Gum injuries turn white because they are constantly wet.
