Im trying to talk with my dh about getting a vasectomy, and he is convinced it will...

1. lower his testosterone
2. age him quicker
3. Lose energy
4. Decreased sex drive
5. Weight gain

True or False. Please Share

Also, anyone's S/O have experience with the reversal? Did you have troubles conceiving afterwards?

if you are even wondering about reversal rates, he shouldn't get one.

BUMP!

DH is going to get one

Does he think it's the same as a dog being neutered? Because that's how all my dogs acted once they'd been neutered

Mine had one not too long ago. His sex drive is actually higher, and, he's since lost about 30lbs. No adverse effects over here!

False for all of them. It does not lower energy or testosterone, and it will not make him gain weight.

Tell him that the only possible symptom of having a vasectomy is having great debilitating pain in the penis and genitals (Post-vasectomy pain syndrome). It happens between every 1/10 to 1/30 of men who have the procedure done.

Questions about reversals make me think vasectomy isn't for you.

Dh's sex drive has gone up extremely lately. The V was a few years ago.

T level? Idk, no trouble there.

He ages the same as normal and energy is the same. Jesus where did he get these ideas?

Always potential complications with any surgery.
