5 years ago we got a live in house keeper/cook/mommy's helper

I love hr she is awesome! Not only does she keep the house clean, help when I need her, and cook great food she has also taught my children to speak spanish, french, and mandarin.

It is also awesome getting to spend more time with my kids instead of cooking and cleaning which I hate to do.

Right? I love my busy life. Though a mother's helper once a week when I do my deep cleaning would be nice.

I'm thinking of "hiring" my friends oldest boy for that.

that sounds so nice. I bet you get a lot of time to do fun stuff with your kids instead of cleaning!

Not lazy at all. We are a very active family.

Instead of cleaning I would rather take my kids on a bike ride or go fishing or go horse back ridinf

I wouldn't mind having someone occasionally. Not all the time though. I like doing some of that stuff for relaxation.

Why is it lazy to hire out things that you don't like to do? Especially if you can afford it?
