I believe that is when our nation started to go down hill. It may have started slowly but it started. Families earning more money, prices increased, poverty increased and so did divorce rate. Now I am not saying a women shouldn't divorce her dh if he is being abusive, I am saying now people give up easier than before. Household's had balance, the economy had balance, and children had more structure.

Women always worked. We were nurses, teachers, maids, and prostitutes because that was all that we were allowed. Now we can be whatever we want. I much prefer the status quo, thank you.  

I work and DH is a SAHD, and I would not want it any other way.

It's not the divorce that's the problem. It's people getting married to other people they barely know.
