Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

I sent my kids to bed without dinner.

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
They wanted to sit there and whine and be rude because it wasn't what "they wanted". I gave them one warning to drop the attitudes, and they refused, so it was off to bed without dinner.

Sorry Charlie, in my house, you eat dinner if you're hungry. If you want to sit there and be rude, saying "yuck" to food and whining, there are consequences.

Would you do the same?

Right. I expected that.

You keep telling yourself that.

Quoting Anonymous: I guess you should go pound sand then.

You are making my point for me with these replies.

If you didn't feel guilty about it, you wouldn't have posted this in the first place, and you also wouldn't have made yourself anonymous.

The fact that you did both reveals that you know what you did was WRONG.

And so do your kids.

If you can't take the heat of women who disagree with what you did, then don't post it. Keep it to yourself. But don't be surprised when you find you don't get 100 percent support from all of us.

Ask yourself this: If you died tomorrow, would your kids know that you loved them? If the answer is yes, then you can tell me to pound sand. But I have a feeling that you're not so sure about it. How do I know?

Because you posted this question about sending your kids to bed hungry.

Quoting Anonymous: What?
Quoting austenheroine:

If you have to ask, then give me your name so that I can call CPS.

Quoting Anonymous: Is this a joke?
Quoting austenheroine:

 That's abusive.

Lol, I will. Since it's the truth.

Here's the thing that gets me:

This narcissism is so strong that you can't even see how wrong it is to send children to bed hungry.

Your pride astounds me.

I hope your kids make it to adulthood in one piece.
