I ate it so she couldn't

My MIL eats like a teenage boy. She lives with us, contributes nothing, and eats all of my food. She replaces the local and organic deliciousness with crap from the dollar store-- then she DOES NOT eat it. She waits for me to buy more expensive delicious food.

So, my husband came home with surprise tex mex. I wasn't hungry, but I saw that ravinous hound drooling her way to the kitchen. She had JUST ate all of my left over stuffed peppers (that were supposed to be for MY next 3 lunches).

I ran my ass to the kitchen and fixed a big plate (My husband had bought it for just us because he SAW her eat all of my peppers). She stood there and watched us make our plates! I ate seconds so she couldn't have any. I felt like my stomach was going to explode.

I've dealt with someone like this. I started writing my name on my food. It pissed the person off but they stopped eating it

I'd give her one shelf in the fridge and one in the cupboard and tell her she can have what's on those shelves only.
