She asked me to what??

My friend ASKED me to throw her a bridal shower a couple of months ago. It was a disaster, I ended up spending over $300 out of my pocket due to others backing out. She was a bridezilla throughout the whole shower and never once even said thank you. We are supposed to habe a girls dinner party and diaper shower for her soon. She texted me yesterday and asked me to throw her a "real" baby shower, and I told her no. IMO, it was incredibly rude for her to ask me to throw one shower, much less two. I was always taught if someone offers to throw you a shower, great, but you NEVER ask someone to throw you one. I told her I spent a lot of money on the last one and I really don't have it to spend, especially with school coming up in 3 weeks for the kids. She got really pissed and will not talk to me, and I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid in her wedding in 2 weeks. I'm about ready to take my dress to her tell her to find another bridesmaid. What would you do?

I wouldn't take my dress to her! Lol. Actually, if I had made a commitment to be in her wedding I wouldn't back out at the last minute like that. But after the wedding I would distance myself from her.

Me either, she has NEVER been like this, until she got engaged and started planning the wedding

I'd be glad she stopped talking to me.

I'd tell her to go fuck herself, but I'm in a mood today. :)

It literally took every ounce of self control to not tell her that
