Most women are feminists, and men.

People just have a skewed view of what feminism actually is. They see the extreme feminists and think that's what it is.

It's pretty much like thinking all Christians are like those who follow WBC.

What exactly is a feminist. The definition of that changes all the time.. It's different depending on where you live to.

Complacency. Pure and simple.

Because like a pp said, extremists have skewed perception.

Believing that men and women are equal is much older than the name of feminism, though. Equality and value because one is human, not because of one's genitalia, are a core belief for many religions.

How do you define feminist?

I just believe in equality and fairness, but that we have to use reason.

I don't always agree with the mainstream feminist organization point of view, not because I'm anti-women or whatever, but because I don't always agree their point of view is fair, equal, or reasonable.

So I prefer not to identify with groups that I don't feel represent my point of view.

Peace, and all that jazz...

Most women are feminists, they just don't know what the term actually means.
