See when I see a kid going hungry (even though the parent(s) may be collecting welfare), but yet at the same time the parents have bought themselves a giant SUV, other unneeded material stuff, or are alcoholics or doing drugs am I the only one who wants to call CPS?

I've personally never seen that (not saying it doesn't happen).

How can you tell they are hungry? And that it's not just regular hunger but ongoing?

The only hungry kids I see are the ones whining about it in the middle of my kitchen right now. The kitchen that has a fully stocked pantry and fridge.

No. I don't know their story or what that family has been through or is going through. It's none of my business.

No, I just want to give them food.
I don't think Cps is always the answer.
Just some help and understanding can go a long way too.
You never know what someone is going thru.

Um are the kids showing bones and are sickly? Kids sometimes claim to be hungry even if they're fed...and on a different note cps is not the helpful agency you think it is... Do your complete research before you cry wolf to cps.
