My son is going on a camping trip for his bday. His older brother is taking them. We rented a 12 passenger van and DS was able to invite any of his friends to go camping. Well he has friends that are twins. He invited one but not the other.

I got a very angry phone call from the mother saying she was pissed that both her sons were not invited. Now she is saying neither will go

She also called some of the other parents and told them and some of them do not want to go to just avoid problems

My son is upset because now his birthday is full of drama and he is not sure who is going or not.

ETA: One of the twins is his good friend. He doesnt really like the other twin but he is always around anyway. Now that it is his birthday and spots are limited he didnt want to invite the twin he doesnt like

I think that mom is just a bitch. Just cause your kids are twins does not mean they need to be together 24/7 and have the same friends.

That's bullshit.
Your son doesn't have to invite someone just because they are a twin!!!!!
Ugh I'd be so pissed at that mother!! I would personally let her have it. And any of the other ones who decided not to come.
Ignorant bitches.
Let this be a learning experience for your son.
If need be, make some new plans...

Good grief.  Unless the twins are conjoined, they aren't a package set.  It's no different than any other siblings.  I'm sure the Mom is just pissed because she was hoping to get free babysitting (a few kid-free days) out of the deal.
