now before i start my dd had her first baby at 18,my df's dd also had a ds but at 16. df's dd is pregnant with her second but still in high school and living with her mom asking df for money(shes 18 now) my dd is also pregnant again(shes almost 23) BUT she and her dh own their own house, bought a new car with cash and dont ask for help(even though i offer as much as possible)

now df and i are throwing my dd a baby shower next month, and his dd is pissed off because no one is throwing her one,1.shes having another little boy 2.she has ALL her first sons old things, all she needs is a new carseat, which MY dd bought for her and is going to give to her at her own baby shower. my dd is having a girl and she sent all her sons baby stuff to guatemala

i just want to tell df's dd to get over it honestly

Oooh, good luck with all of that. Why isn't her own mother giving her a baby shower if she wants one so badly?

Doesn't she have friends or other family who are willing to throw her a shower?

I think every baby should be celebrated, and babies are pricey and gifts are very welcome.

If she wants a party so badly, she should ask a friend to host. Or an aunt. Or a grandmother.

But to expect a shower is wrong.

And stop having babies so young, people.

Lordy.

My cousin threw herself a shower for her second little girl, which she had at 17. I didn't go....
