I wish I had never had him! A confession

Since we had (we will call him) T, my life my whole family's lives have changed and not for the better.

T... Has Down syndrome. He can't learn. I have 2 other children who get almost no time with me. T needs to go to therapy. T needs to have me work with him. T needs a heart operation so I have to be there. T pooped in his pants and has to be cleaned up even though he is 10...

T can get violent. He sometimes hit and screams and breaks things. And T is strong.

He has punched his sister. She was 5 and got a black eye.

All of our money goes to T for the most part. Medical expenses, special tutors, etc.

T's sister and two brothers hate T. We miss the kids baseball games, ballet recitals, karate tournaments, etcetera.

He embarrasses them in front of their friends. He has put my bra on his head and walked out in front of my sons friends and they don't want to come here.

My confession? I wish when the amnio came out positive I had gotten an abortion.

That's just sad. If he is that bad off, have you considered a home?

Sounds more like parents who need to find s balance.

Children with downs can learn. It takes time but they can

I don't know what to say, all of that is SO sad. He'll be eligible for a group home in a few years. I guess just tough it out, you're already half way through =(
