In the grocery store at checkout, the bag lady (that sounds so wrong, sorry) and DF were placing the bags in the cart and DS was sitting there drinking his bottle.
She leans over and says:
"you're too old for a bottle"
To which my DF replies
"Hes two."
She says
"oh, I thought he was four"

I giggled because he is a big boy, and Ive heard that he looks 4 years old ALL OF THE TIME.

Anyway, DF thinks the lady overstepped. I personally didn't give a fuck because I'M his mother.
I also know that many moms these bottles away when they turn 1, but this isn't a debate about that because like I said, I AM his mother.

But do you think the woman overstepped?

**332 replies people! Its been said "2 is too old" a rack of times. As Ive stated in my OP, I don't give a fuck about your opinion. You're entitled to it, but I will brush you off

Maybe a little, but I wouldn't have been bothered by it.

Yeah, that's what I think.
I mean she wasn't rude or pushy. She was rather sweet (to me lol)

Yeah even if it's her opinion he's too old for a bottle, it's none of her business to say anything.

Yes she overstepped.  I personally would never say anything to another family unless it directly effects me but I certainly would have thought it was odd in my head.

I was just thinking about how I'm probably going to get scolded at Ds' 18 month checkup this week because I haven't gotten around to getting rid of his bottle. He drinks from a sippy cup and eats normal food, but he likes his nighttime bottle and I haven't been up for fighting over it yet.
