I was reading people.com and it said that. Doesn't that seem kinda crappy to anyone else? Not bothering to stay for longer on her first great grandbabys first birthday?

Idk, seems crappy to me and like she doesn't care. I'd be hurt.

Isn't she older than dirt? Maybe she was tired.

1) he's not her first great grandchild, several of her other grandchildren have children

2) it's a 1 year old's first birthday and she's in her 80s and has a busy schedule. After she's said hello to him and the adults, there's not much for her to stick around for

3) who cares?

She is old !! She was probably exhausted. Some 80+ year olds wouldn't of even bothered to go to a loud 1st birthday party.

I don't think he's her first great grand baby. She is also ancient and busy.

At 88 yrs. old, I give her credit for attending at all. My grandmother just turned 90 and has had to skip several events and feels terribly about it but it's just too much for her sometimes.
