Well not really just trying to get people in here. I know this is Confessions but I have a question. We are going to Myrtle Beach at the beginning of October. I have read the weather is still warm enough to swim in the ocean at that time. Anyone live there and can tell me if thats true?

It's not warm enough to swim in, but you probably won't need a sweater to walk around.

I'm about an hour away, but I don't go in the ocean lol. But even if I did I wouldn't go in unless it's summer. It gets chilly in Oct.

It depends on the weather that month. You can check the noaa site they will give you water temps for the local beaches. I live in southern va and the ocean is only really warm enough for swimming from June to September.

I live there and it depends on what part of October. My hubby's birthday is October 7th and we are usually always hot on his birthday (we still don't swim past august usually though). However we are always freezing and wearing jackets by Halloween when we trick or treat.

You said AMA.  If you wanted only topically relevant questions, you should have said AMTQIWYTA, or ask me the questions I want you to ask.

You aren't OP.  never mind.
