I was cleaning out a closet last week and came across a doll that I bought on clearance seven years ago. I bought it for one of my nieces, but forgot about it and never gave it. Don't worry...she got another present. Anyway... I found it and thought it would be perfect for dh's niece who is turning four. She has never seen the movie and the plan was to send it to her with the movie for her birthday in a couple of weeks.

Today I was looking for a dress to go with it and couldn't find anything! While I was searching for dresses, I came across an auction on ebay and the exact same doll was listed for $150!

We could really use the cash and would normally try to spend less than $30 for a gift for this child.

Would you send it to the niece or sell it for the cash?

This is the doll...

I'd probably sell it for the cash, lol. She's 4, she won't know or care ;)

Lol I would totally sell it and sleep well that night. It's not like you stole it from her after you gave it to her.

Just because someone has it listed for $150, doesn't mean someone will buy it for that much, just keep that in mind. Although people do crazy things for hard to find Disney stuff lol

It was a buy it now price. I know that is probably higher then we would probably get, but I am sure I would get more than I would spend on a niece gift.

Sell it and buy the child a Barbie or something else you KNOW she'd like.

I know that. But even if I only get $80, that is still up $50!
