Special councelors for custody disputes?

My children have had their first visitation with their dad in two years. From the sounds of it, it's not going well. I don't want to parent bash or pry for details but I do think they will need to talk with someone about the issues I know about so far.

I also feel a third party is needed to evaluate the situation.

What do I do? Where do I go?

Thanks!

are you talking about someone appointed by the courts, or a private therapist/counselor?

I'm not too sure. Probably non-court because I'm in the middle of a change of venue.

then you just choose a therapist and they could be subpoenaed to testify in a custody hearing if needed
