Just wondering..

If your step child's step mother cut your daughters hair would you be ok with it?

What if she didn't ask you and your daughter had long hair?

What if she was young?

If she just cut it because she wanted to I would be pissed. If she did it because I didn't take care of it and deadlocks were forming than I would be pissed at myself for being a lousy parent.

Court and limit contact. To do that without discussion by step mom is overstepping and shows inability to coparent.

If you try for an assault charge, you'll just make yourself look like a vindictive fool. And you won't get them anyway. Hair cutting is not assault.

I'd be pissed that she took it upon herself to make that decision.
Pressing charges would be silly, it's not THAT serious.

What did dad say? How old was the daughter? She could have asked and am did it.

There are too many other things that could effect it to just decide on a blanket thought
