What was on your wedding menu?

I'm always seeing posts about wedding menu's.  I love it.  What was on yours, or will be on yours?

We did buffet style and everything was cooked by my mother and aunt, DH's mother, sister and brother, and the best man. Also, a friend who is a chef did the appetizers. We purchased all the food, and there were about 200 people in attendance.

It consisted of:

BBQ Pulled Pork (Best man)

Chicken Marsala (BIL)

Mashed Potatoes (my mom)

Yellow Rice with gandules (MIL)

Potato salad (SIL)

Green Bean Almondine (Aunt)

Roasted Broccoli (Mom)

Rolls (I think were store bought...)

Punch, fruit juices, coffee and tea were available

The appetizers were different cheeses, fruits and veggies cut into a beautiful array.

We had a sit down dinner. There was a chicken, beef and fish option, side of veggie and either side of potatoes or side of rice pilaf.

We almost went this route, but it was SO expensive.  We ended up saving like $500 the way we did it.  My cousin did one similar to yours, it was lovely.

We had appetizers too, but I'm drawing a blank. My wedding was a long time ago, lol.

Appetizers were: cheese and fruit display, bacon wrapped scallops, teriyaki beef skewers, and meatballs.

Dinner was: chicken and steak, potatoes and veggies.

We had 5 different flavors of cupcakes.

Soda, tea and coffee and a cash bar.

Nothing we eloped. Weddings are a waste of time, money and energy.

My oldest brother eloped.  My dad would've been pissed if he hadn't of gotten to walk me down the aisle, or have a father-daughter dance.
