My ex let my daughter cut all her hair off. So livid

My daughter is 13. She went to her dad and stepmoms on Tuesday. Apparently they were watching a movie and his stupid wife said a character with a pixie cut looked like my daughter and her hair would look good on her. My daughter said "dad, I want a haircut like that" and took her today.

WTf? He didn't think to run this by me? My daughter went from having hair down her back to having a pixie cut with almost no hair. I don't like it, her hair was so gorgeous. I called him angry and he just started laughing, said "your insane" and hung up. F--- him. How would you handle this?

Um...guess what.....hair grows back....AND if she likes it, don't be a bitch and make her feel bad about her looks for it. That shit will stay with her forever

She's 13.

I wouldn't have an issue with it. It's her hair.

Deep breath and let it go. She's 13. She wanted a hair cut and dad got her one.
It's HER hair. Maybe it's sad for you her hair is gone but again, not your head, not your hair. He's her dad. He gets to help her make decisions. Even ones you may not like.

It's just hair. Sorry you were more attached to it, but if she wanted it cut, good for him for taking her. It'll grow back.

As long as she wanted it and it wasn't forced on her, I don't see the issue.. It's only hair, it will grow back.

The funny thing about hair is that it will grow back.

She is old enough to make the choice for herself.

She's 13. Not 3. She would've been making her own hair choices a long time ago here.
