Why what? Only to a sibling? Or not donating at all?

I wouldn't, because I just can't fathom the idea.
First, I don't want to think about it, and secondly, Id want my child to remain "whole".

If (God forbid) any of my children die, I will absolutely donate their organs. Just like I'm an organ donor, and DH is an organ donor. We're dead; we won't need them anymore.

I would never donate my kids organs, I'm not even a donor myself.

This blows my mind, too. How can anyone possibly NOT want their child to save another person's life? Why does a dead child need his organs? Just so selfish, IMO.

Well personal preference.  I know that if I were to loose my child I would donate their organs to help another child out, it wouldn't even be a question for me

That does nothing to help the OP. She is wondering why. Care to explain?

I like to hope I'd donate his organs, but I can't imagine how God awful dealing with the death of my child would be. I can see why someone wouldn't want to do it.

My opinion is blunt but I think it is only selfish reasons people wouldn't. If legitimate medical reason then okay. But fears and want the decompose body to be whole is not a reason in my book.

Why should your child be whole in death while another child dies because he couldn't get a vital organ transplant? That makes no sense. Don't you think your child would want to save someone's life given the chance?

I would like our bodies to be laid to rest intact. I don't want to meet my maker missing an eye ball.
