You get cs, and ex and new wife become rich. Do you go for more cs?

You're a mom making about $30,000, receive cs, and catch wind that your ex and his new wife now make over $100,000 a year. Would you be okay with just keeping your c.s at the same amount, or would you try to get more money because they now have a lot of it?

If its mostly your exs wife it won't matter. Child support does not count the non parents income, married or not.

I would get more because his child has a legal right to a specific percent.

No. Her income has nothing to do with your child.

I would get more anyway, without asking. I automatically get more of his pay increased

I'm saying BOTH of them together now make over 100k. He used to make about 30k, got a great job, and she finally got a career making over 40k

Quoting JustMe522: No. Her income has nothing to do with your child.

I would take it for reevaluation. If I get more, fine. If not, that's fine too.
