It seems like I get mad over the drop of a pencil.
Its been going on for about 3 months now! I see my doctor later today about the issue.

Anyone here have this problem? What meds do you take for it?

**UPDATE**

My doctor prescribed me Xanax and Zoloft.

I do, but I'm Bipolar. My anger is my mania coming through.

Right now I just take a med for my anxiety. Calms me down a bit. I'm bipolar, so there are other factors at play here.

Why are you angry? Who are you angry at?

What about therapy?

I just stopped giving a fuck. I could waste 5 minutes being angry or go do something else more fun/productive.

My depression just exasperated my temper. I was on generic prozac for a year, and will probably be going back on it soon.

I get angry only when provoked. Normally I'm a very mild-mannered creature. I'm not on meds.

I call them breakdowns. Cause I'm totally out of control. It's sad.

I have had anger problems all my life. I do not believe in medication to mask my emotions. I went to therapy to find out why I was so angry. I also changed my diet. Eliminated sugar, wheat , caffeine. I also exercise daily.

My kids are 6&4 and they are kids just being kids. They don't listen and fight constantly. It seems like I'm always screaming at them and when my 6yo does something she knows she's not supposed to do I get ridiculously mad over it when I shouldn't.

Its not that I'm mad at a certain someone its that I get easily upset over stupid shit. :(

I haven't. This just started about 3 months ago or more. Nothing big has happened that I canthink of for me to not be able to control myself. I find myself blowing up on people over little stuff that shouldnt bother me.
