Would you rather pay a nominal amount each year to your child's school (between $25 and $50) and have all supplies provided for the classroom or purchase your own supplies?

Explain in comments.

Me personally, I liked the supply fee when my kids were in school.  I never bought so much as a folder.

I'd rather do the supply fee. So much easier.

Depends on how much the supply fee is.

I find it fun to shop for school supplies so I'd rather do that.

We pay tuition and I don't mind buying supplies. I really don't get all the uproar about it.

I'm lazy, I'd prefer the fee then tracking down all the crap on the list.

I can buy them cheaper than any fee we would have. I got 18 boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons for under $4.00. Gave most of them to the school.

Supply fee! I just spent $80 on one class. Don't teachers get a discount too?
