Is this weird?

One of my friends made a status saying when he has his daughter and when they watch cartoons she's only allowed to watch super hero and boy themed cartoons. He doesn't allow to watch anything girly. When my DS watches cartoons it's whichever one. His favorite is jake and the neverland pirates and Sofia the first. I feel like a kid should be made to watch one thing. I know he's always hated how girly his daughters mom makes her. Is it weird he tells her she can't watch anything girly and hates her princess outfits?

Yes, that's weird. Let her watch "girly" stuff if she wants to.

He's trying to balance mom.

I would let her be herself.

Yes it's weird.She is a girl after all.If she's into girly things,that's perfectly fine.If she isn't,then that's fine too.But,just what does he have against a girl being a girl?

I wonder that as well. I think sometimes it has to do with his ex. Resentment of some sort. Like he doesn't like how it is at her house so he's trying to change it.

Yes it's weird.   Sounds like he hates females in general. Not a good male role model.
