what happens if your child comes home and you find out something you wish you hadn't and you can't live with it

For me meth would be the hardest as well as dealing. I went down that road and at 19 was in rehab for my addiction to meth. I will have 2 years clean in the end of September but it definitely wasn't easy and took an unplanned pregnancy to get me to clean myself up and choose a different path in life. It's hard with addictions because the addict has to want to change and get help and they won't be successful unless they want it for themselves. Whatever you and your family is going through, I'm sorry and I hope you can help the person with whatever they're struggling with.

I thought it was drugs then today we had our second anti-natal appointment and she is HIV+ and she has fessed up to using meth and smack while pregnant before. I'm just lost I'm trying to be supportive while firm but i just want to run RUN a mile

I would try to help her for any of them. But I picked dealer, because that's affecting not just herself, but others.
