Are there good tablets for a toddler out there? I'm looking for one that's baby appropriate with educational games?

A lot of people are going to give you shit, just FYI.

My DD has an iPad with a seriously heavy-duty case.  She is 2, and is legally blind, so she cannot watch elmo on the television.  She uses it mostly to FaceTime, Skype, Netflix, and sometimes games.

Imo it's a ridiculous idea. My minimum age for one is 5.
I'd say the nabi Jr. Though.

I personally don't know of any. My DDs were more into active play at that age. They were about 2.5 when they started getting into video games.

My girls have a leap pad. They are 1 and 3 and both love it.

My 20 month old has a Leap Pad. My 6 year old has an iPad Mini with an Otterbox.

I'd say skip the kid friendly ones. They are cheap and outdated quickly. Get an iPad with a toddler friendly case. It will last much longer and you can add/remove apps to accommodate your child's changing needs/interests. Think of it as more of a long term investment.
