I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I weigh 138 and I'm 5'2". My BMI is 25.2 making me overweight.

I was overweight from the start of my second pregnancy, no excuses.

My BMI was in the overweight category of my first pregnancy, but I was far from overweight if you used proper measurements, like body fat %.

Link to BMI and I'll let you know...  Also, what is a 'normal' BMI for being pregnant? I didn't start gaining until I was 5 months pregnant. I was 5'3 at 9 months and 140lbs. How do we even do BMI with a baby in us? Do we subtract their birth weight from our weight???

I started all of my pregnancies in the overweight or obese category. I lose weight while pregnant though...

Here's a calculator that lets you know based on your pre-pregnancy BMI what weight you "should" gain on the recommended scale.

For me, I started out with a BMI of 23.8, so I'm right on track in the "goal" weight this pregnancy.
