Love my mom to death....from a distance. We don't do well if we're under the same roof.
Have another BUMP.
Quoting BrutalTruth: I would rather die than live with my parents.
Have a bump.
Not applicable, but my mother in law asked to live with us, because she was having trouble in her marriage and wanted out. We declined.
I don't live with my parents, but sometimes I wish I did. Whenever I go back home to visit I realize how much I took for granted.
We lived with my mom for about a month when we moved back to Indiana. It took us a bit to find an apartment.
Sometimes it's the parent(s) who needs to live with an adult child. It's actually becoming somewhat common (at least as a possibility) in my social circle as our parents get older.
About a year ago I moved out of my apartment, and my parents moved out of theirs. We now split a new place 50/50. I like the help with the kids and we both like the money we're saving.
