Big fat nurse

I have a dear friend who is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and he was lamenting to me recently about the nurses he has.

"Why the hell would I listen to, and TRUST a big fat assed nurse who lectures me about my health?"

I was hard pressed to counter his POV.

It IS kinda like a nurse who preaches "don't smoke ciggs" while she/he wreaks of ciggs.

A person can KNOW that smoking is bad for them, but continue to do it. Her being fat doesn't mean she can't care for others, it just means she doesn't take good care of herself.

It doesn't make her a dumbass. It makes her careless.

My doctor is overweight- she likes to talk about nutrition and exercise- probably mandated by the insurance companies.

It's sad that your friend has stage four cancer, but is so worried about the size of his nurse. Does he think a skinny one will save his life?

I kind of agree. It's kinda hard to take someone seriously when you look at them and they seem like a hypocrite.
