is this normal? (sex related)

I had sex for the first time in years last weekend. It was a bit uncomfortable like the first time I had sex and I had some spotting after. I had sex again tonight and only certain positions were uncomfortable but again I had some spotting. I know it's been awhile but I've had sex and also had a child. I didn't think it would be like this. Is this normal or should I set an appointment up with my doctor?

If its been a long time, it could be normal. If you're concerned, call your doctor.

If it's been a while, or he is bigger than your body is used to... yes it's normal. Or maybe you need to use lube

He is bigger than the only other guy I have been with. How long is it normal for?

I'd make a joke about how as a black woman, OF COURSE you think all kool aid is red, but I shall refrain
;)
