We got behind on our bills this month due to some things and we live paycheck to paycheck. I am able to get all my bills paid but it is putting me behind on putting money back for August . We were going to be $150 short on rent by due date and dh had gotten a ticket that is due around rent time. No matter how worked my budget i couldn't figure how to pay that ticket without getting a payday loan. Well dh just told me he is working Friday and Saturday which will give him 20 extra hour and 20hr at time and half. $600 extra on next week check. That's awesome. I can pay all the rent and his ticket without a payday loan. After this I can manage our bills o 40 hr. I can get back on track.

Be sure to account for additional taxes. It seems that no matter how many hours my husband works, taxes eat up his overtime.

Yea they do. I didn't want to unless it was a last resort. Because I knew that would put us behind for September.
