Yeah..I said it my daughter will not be attending her own birthday party this weekend and she will find out day of.. Because she cut off a chunk of her little brothers hair all cause she refused to share tv time with him. And I told her apologize to him but she refused. So me and my dh agreed to still have the party and invite all her friends and family. I warned her in life every action has consequences. So this weekend when she's peeking out the window seeing her friend and family enjoying her birthday  minus her. Will hopefully teach her a lesson!

You couldn't just cancel the party?  You're going to make her sit it out?  Hope you've started a therapy jar, because that is friggin mean.

If you're not a troll, you are absolutely insane! Why didn't you just cancel the party?

God bless!

I would tell her ahead of time however - it seems a little cruel to not tell her to the day of. Maybe give her a chance to do a little atonement?

Or maybe let her come out the second half of the party.. Because that will surely be torture for her!

I respect the principal behind your decision and your balls to follow thru - however it is her birthday I would tell her ahead of time and give her an opportunity to earn it back.

Too many parents are all talk but no action - and that is why their children behave like wild animals!
