In the Original Post about calling people Black not AA, I read a lot of people saying that "blacks are never happy"
So instead of sharing my views on this, Im asking what do YOU say?

If you're white, would you rather be referred to something else?

When I met my husband I asked him what he was and he said white boy. I said no what is your ethnicity? Where did you family come from? What is your history? He said "Oh I'm white and my dad is from Washington" smh.... He is German Irish on his mom's side and we don't know on his dads :( I think it's sad not to know your background.

I agree with this.
So if you don't know where they are from, you say "black"?

I say Black.

Where I'm originally from they call Black people Negr, even Black people call themselves Negr. It is not considered as a offensive word. I"m not saying I'm agreeing with it, but that is just the way it is.
