50 Shades of Grey The Movie

So ladies, did you read the book? Do you plan on seeing the movie?  I personally had no interest in reading the book and have no interest in seeing the movie. What about you? One more thing, for those women who want to see the movie. Are you going to go with the man in your life or your girlfriends.

UPDATE: Wow i really didn't think i would get such a response, thank you all for making this a very interesting and enjoyable forum, for me anyway lol! I learned a lot :)

I did read the book, and I did like it. I am planning on seeing the movie but am not holding onto high hopes.

I never read the books, because I don't like to read. I know what the storyline was, since everyone I know read it, and told me I have to read it.

I am curious about the movie, though.

I don't think I'll watch the movie . The actor for Christian Grey just doesn't sit right with me . He doesn't have the "look" .

Read the books, they were really really bad but I couldn't stop myself, it was so bad. I will not watch the movie. If I do I'll wait to rent it, which by the looks of it will be available on redbox soon enough

LOL!! I saw the trailer last night at the movies and they don't have much on in the trailer, so i'm guessing they'll be wearing less :)

Quoting quickbooksworm: The books are shit so the movie might actually improve upon it. However, I don't want to see either of those people without clothing. Blech.

In what way were the books bad?

I'm reading the first book, but it's slow going. I'm finding it hard to get passed all the cheesy, cliche romantic lines :(

Well then you might like the movie.
