I don't have the patience for it.

Not to mention the fact that my DD is very dyslexic and needs a trained reading specialist.

Private school for us.

No need and it would not suit my daughter. She is extremely social and LOVES school. Public schools where I live are top notch with low teacher/student ratio, arts and music programs, PE, strong science programs.

I'm also a terrible teacher.

Public school for us, i couldnt possibly give my children the level of eduction they get there.

I would be doing them a disservice to homechool them.

We are taking a "holiday" for dd's birthday today and tomorrow. I also loved not getting up at the break of dawn this morning and taking them to school like the past few years. :-)

I am and I love homeschooling. It is not for everyone. My oldest is gifted and my youngest is dyslexic. It works very well for us. We are a very social family. We are spending a week in a cabin in Williamsburg for school next month. I can't wait and neither can my sons. Homeschooling is not for everyone. It takes a lot of time and dedication.
