My kids leave tomorrow to go spend a week visiting their dad in New Jersey. They are planning to go visit New York city. My mother is freaking out because of the one guy in a NYC hospital being tested for Ebola. The doctors treating him have said it is "very unlikely" that it is Ebola. I feel like she's over reacting. What do you guys think? I mean yes, I am slightly nervous about the Ebola outbreak, but it's not as easily spread as many seem to think, and its not an epidemic here yet. There is very little risk of even catching it if a person is not displaying symptoms and you're not in direct contact with a visibly sick person. Maybe I'm being stupid, but I don't feel it's worth canceling their trip.
