My husband learnt a valuable lesson today

His is a big baby when it comes to needles, because of this he refuses to go to the dentist. I would tell him that he needs to go, he had cavities that needed to be filled, he refused.
Well, today he chipped a tooth (one that had a cavity) and it went right down to the nerve. Now he has no choice but to go to the dentist (he's on his way now) and has learnt a lesson.

Learnt is a correct form of learned. Learnt is British English, I am Canadian and that is what I was taught.

Instead of making a new post, I figured I'd bump this one.

He needs 2 root canals but can't get them done until the 18th. The dentist prescribed him t3s but DH is saying that they aren't helping much. Any suggestion to help the pain?
