DD is nearly 6 months and has always had her father or I taking care of her. We worked opposite shifts to avoid child care. Well schedules have changed and now DD needs to go to a sitter between 7am and 11am. The lady who is keeping her I have known for 5 years and she frequently watches neighborhood kids to earn a little extra money. She is great. Here is tge problem. DD SCREAMS bloody murder the entire time we are gone. The only time she doesn't is when she exhausts herself and falls asleep. This happens if we take her to the sitter, or the sitter comes here. The sitter said she is going to give it 1 more week. If things dont change she wont be able to watch DD any longer. Idk what to do. Schedule changes are not an option. Neither is quitting

1 mom liked this

I would find an adult more suited to care for an infant.

Is she teething? Has she cut her first teeth? Sometimes that can make a baby really fussy, especially when they're not around their usual caregivers.

Since Monday. She helped with my older kids, i have no qualms as to her abilities. Baby even cries when grandma comes over, soon as she comes in the house. She cries and cries until grandma leaves

It sounds like you NEED to find another sitter! Does she do this with anyone else? It sounds like something is not right with the sitter for your DD to scream the whole time?somethings up. find another sitter asap
