I dropped out of school in my junior year of high school after I had my son, I got a part time job at McDonald's. I met a guy and a few years later we got married. He works as a co-manager at Wal-mart now and I'm a SAMH at the moment because I got fired at McDonald's for no reason about 2 years ago but I always wanted to be a nurse. I decided to get my GED to provide a better future to my now 8 year old son and I'm expecting a baby girl really soon. I took GED courses and took the test and I passed. I'm so happy. I'm doing online school for nursing while I take care of my children. I will tell my children to stay in school and don't have children when they're teenagers. My advice those who wants to earn your GED, don't give up keep trying.

Congratulations! Don't give up til you become a nurse. It's hard especially when you won't be able to do online anymore but just stick with it.

Hey, congrats! That's a great accomplishment.

I got my GED in 1989. I went on to community college, won a full scholarship to a good university, and ended up graduating with honors.

High school doesn't work out for everyone, but that doesn't mean people can't still get an education and move on in life! You're going to be great!
