I don't know how to make it clicky, but I wouldn't want to convict her either.

Had she shot, stabbed, hit, or clubed him immediately upon discovery, that would have been defenseable.  But waiting until later, then the gasoline, that is premeditated.  Yes, I'd convict her.  Yes, he deserves punishment, but taking the law into your own hands is never the way to do it.

She caught her husband molesting her 7yo and poured gasoline on him and set him on fire .
