I Think I've Made A Mistake...

I've recently dropped cable completely, they shut it off Saturday.

I plan on just paying for netflix.

Downside?

Well that's what I'm hoping you all can tell me.

Does Netflix air new shows?

I'm currently on the new series called The Strain, and Finding Carter, and I plan on watching The Walking Dead and The Vampire Diaries this October.

...So...Will they have my new tv series that's airing now?

Nope. You need to get Hulu.

Cable is crazy packed with garbage commercials and there is rarely anything actually good on, we cut ours two years ago and just rely on netflix :) Works for us and no regrets. Enjoy!

No, you have to wait a few for the new shows to come out. We did that for a month and i hated it.

It takes awhile for Netflix to get the new seasons. They are usually a season behind or so. You can use Hulu for current episodes.

Nope. Why didn't you look into this before shutting the cable off?

No. You can get some new shows with a Hulu plus account. Netflix doesn't do current season episodes of shows. That's why we have both Netflix and Hulu plus.

Nope, except for their own original shows.

If you want new episoides, Hulu or Amazon Prime is the best idea. Hulu is about the same price, Amazon Prime is $100/year.
