I'm so crushed. Heartbroken!
How can a man do this to his family and how can a woman be ok with taking a man away like that?
:(

I'm in a very depressed state right now. I really need some kind of advice & encouragement.
Maybe some book recommendations?

Any man that will up and leave his family like that isn't worth the time or the tears. I'm sorry he's that kind of man!

Yes.
It definitely sucks.
But you know now, rather than later.
And she may not even know, and he will probably leave her too

I am so sorry you are going through this. My DH did the same to me and our 2, almost 3 year old, DS 8 months ago. He went from being a loving, amazing father and husband to being a monster over night. We were living abroad, and he has chosen to stay there with her instead of moving back to help raise his son.
It will get easier. I am still healing and have my moments where it still really gets to me, but for the most part my son and I have adjusted to our new life pretty well (him more than me I must say, kids are resilient). If you are not in therapy already, find someone to talk to. And lean on family and friends as much as possible.
PM me if you if want to talk. You are strong and will get through this. Hugs to you.

I'm sorry.
I don't know what's worse: a spouse leaving you for someone else, or continuously cheating and betraying you while pretending they're faithful.
I've been going through the latter for a few years.
