I'm getting so sick of this!!!!

Why does my dog piss on the rugs and carpet? She gets out plenty and refuses to go on the plain floor, so it'll be easier to clean up.

What can I do???

hit her with a rolled up newspaper

rub her nose in it

put the towels you clean up with in her bed

*all totally not the way to keep her from doing it again

Is it always in the same spots? Maybe put puppy pads on those spots?

no it's not.  I've thought about getting puppy pads, but she just pees everywhere as long as it's carpeted.

Hmmm...use vinegar to clean up the spots to kill the smell. Is it always the same spots?

she is old, but if it was a uti or incontenence, wouldn't she just go anywhere and not just carpeted areas?
