So my friends and I took our kids to the water park two weekends ago and I couldn't believe what we saw. We went to change into our regular clothes to leave for dinner and my friend sent her 10 year old son in the men's room to change and meet us. The rest of us weby into the women's bathroom/changing area to do the same.

Well much to our astonishment this women had her 10/11 year old standing in the changing area, which was just one open room with a bench and showers no partitions. I was pissed he is standing there watching all the women and children changing.

My daughter went to go change and I said loudly no we don't chang in front of boys especially ones who are not only old enough to use the men's room bit ones that are staring at all the women changing. His mom.gave me the dirtiest look and huffed out with her family in tow.

I mean seriously he is old enough to go in his own and if they just had to have him in there they could have made him stand by all the sinks which was out of the way of the changing room. If they wouldn't have left I would have went and got an employee to make them leave.

Am I the only one to have seen this?

Yep that's what I thought. And if for some reason he had something like autism then they could have had him standing by the sinks. There were two adult women they could have taken turns changing and standing by the sink with him if someone needed to stay by him. No need for him to be inside that room.

Quoting lovetoteachec: Yeah he's old enough to go on his own.

I have a 9 yr old son that has moderate autism.
He may be physically 9, but developmentally he is approx. 3-4 yrs old.
He goes in to change with me, as he is not able yet to even do this himself. He can't use rippers or buttons, gets lost very easily, and is very socially stunted, hed be scared to death to go into the men's by himself.
My son too looks around, but just like a 3 yr old, nudity and body parts mean very little to him. He's not checking anyone out sexually, he's just looking around.
Did you think about or concider a disability before you got all huffy??
I bet not!!!!
