So our bathroom window is plastic glass. While mowing today a rock flew up and went through the window. Would your tenants have to pay or would you replace it. I haven't spoken to landlord. I just don't know if we are responsible or not.

Edit

Thanks I just told dh to measure it and ill order it tomorrow. His brother and him know how to replace it..

The size is a odd size hard to find. That why either way I need to speak with them landlord to where to get the size.

It is not considered normal wear and tear. You were mowing, you broke it, you fix it or pay for it to be fixed.

tenant would pay - doesn't matter if it happened at move in, move out or anywhere inbetween - it happened while you still had possession of the property.

My parents are landlords and they have only ever been called for furnace problems. Measure the window and go to home depot and order one. If you can't use a tape measure, I think they will come measure it for you!

Around here most landlords don't. The tenants do.
